We are a member-based association. There are nearly 300 Chamber Member businesses in a variety of categories. The Chamber is made up of a Board of Directors, Chamber staff, and Ambassadors. Kari Hatt, Executive Director
Kari Hatt serves as the Executive Director of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) in Sturgis, Michigan. A Sturgis native, she graduated from Sturgis High School in 2001 and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Central Michigan University in 2005. Before returning to the SACC, Hatt spent 12 years as a partner at Culture by Choice, where she assisted organizations nationwide in enhancing their communication and leadership practices. In March 2023, Hatt assumed the role of Executive Director at the SACC. Her tenure coincided with the chamber’s centennial celebration, marking a significant milestone in its history.
Amy León, Administrative Assistant
Amy Leon is a dedicated community member from Sturgis, Michigan, actively contributing to both local religious and civic organizations. A graduate of Sturgis High School, she is currently pursuing a business degree at Glen Oaks Community College. Professionally, Amy serves as the Executive Administrative Assistant at the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC), a role she has filled since October 2021. In addition to her civic duties, Amy is deeply involved with Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sturgis. Amy’s multifaceted involvement underscores her dedication to fostering community growth and spiritual enrichment in Sturgis.
